Mission Statement

The mission of the Bossier Parish Community College Learning Commons (LC) is to develop collections and services that support the Bossier Parish Community College mission. We provide the students, faculty, and staff with a caring learning environment with innovative and accessible resources and services that encourage and support educational goals to help build a community of engaged citizens.

Introduction

The Learning Commons includes the Library and Tutoring Center and is located in Bldg. A on the BPCC main campus. The Learning Commons provides students with access to many types of resources they may need for their coursework and learning including many online resources. There are three different help desks in the Learning Commons where students can get assistance as well as numerous study spaces throughout both levels. Professional tutoring is available for free in several subjects.
